S1|E7: Into the Void

We’re about a third through the album, and it’s been a pretty wild ride so far! I know what you’re thinking: How did they have a conversation about an instrumental track? We’re not exactly sure how we did it either, but we did.

More importantly, this track marks a transition. It feels circular in a way, like you’re being pulled back in time, which makes sense given it follows a track that references Vonnegut’s Slaughterhouse-Five. And that is our argument: That with “(A),” we’re brought back to some beginning, whether a reminiscence of an ill-fated relationship or the actual narration of it in real time, we are definitely at a different point in the story when “(A)” explodes into “Gentlemen.”
